How to Celebrate the most beautiful Bride to be's Hens Day

On Saturday I helped celebrate Ali's Hens Day. Mel, Jo and Nicky did an amazing job organising it, we started at Als mums, jumped on the bus and had our first bubbles of the day (about 10am?) the bus took us to Wandin to the Warratina Lavender Farm for morning tea.

Next stop was the beautiful and historic Chateau Yearing Station where we had wine tasting and education. I've never done wine tasting, so it was really cool, except the wine was kinda gross!

Then it was off to the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel, a beautiful old pub, for lunch. After lunch, we drove for about 30 minutes to Healesville and spent the next few hours in the sweetest little cafe, Mocha and Lime in Healesville, where we chilled, walked around town and sat out on the grass.

Along the way we played games and were given a photo challenge. Mine was to get a photo in a random persons car. I'm proud to say I succeeded! Looking forward to seeing that pic developed!

We ended the day back at Ali's mums for dinner and some more drinks, and the boys finished their bucks day and joined us (hence the pics of Daz in his fine attire!)

It was the greatest day, the weather was perfect, the girls did the most amazing job organising it, and the company was out of this world. Most of us on that bus have known each other for more than 21 years. Those that we hadn't, well they fitted in just fine too!

I'll start getting soppy if I tell you how wonderful and meant-to-be Ali and Daz are together. So I'll save that for the wedding post!

You are so damn hot Jilly!
